Profiles and tubes are produced according to the requirements of the customer for final assembly of his products.
They are used in a wide range of fields with different requirements.
Profiles and pipes produced using the extrusion technology are made of one type of mixture and in one colour or transparent. Plastic profiles are characterized by shape stability throughout their life. The colouring of the mixtures corresponds to the RAL colour scale or the mixture can be in a transparent design. We process the largest volume of granulate from PVC that most often meets the needs of customers due to its properties and low price.
We produce plastic profiles and pipes from the following materials:
PVC (Polyvinylchloride)
is a synthetic polymer obtained by polymerization of vinyl chloride monomer. The polymer itself is not processed. For practical use, additives are added that modify the utility and technological properties. Further fillers are used. Fillers are inert substances that change mechanical, electrical and thermal properties.
User advantages at normal temperatures:
- dimensional stability
- non-absorbency of water
- tensile strength
- self-extinguishing
- resistance to weathering
- hardness
- resistance to acids and bases
- weldability
- adhesiveness
- favourable price
User disadvantages:
- lower heat resistance, up to approx. 65 °C
- softens at approx. 85 °C
- decrease in strength with increasing temperature
ABS (Acrylonitrile butadiene styrene)
is an amorphous polymer. Depending on the proportion of starting components, it is characterized by different properties. Acrylonitrile (approx. 15 - 30%) increases impact resistance and butadiene (approx. 5 - 30%) contributes to better heat resistance.
Styrene is of technological importance (40 - 60%), it improves fluidity.
User advantages:
- lower specific weight
- health safety
- frost resistance
- heat (approx. Up to 150 ° C) and chemical resistance
- dimensional stability
- recyclability
User disadvantages:
- flammability
- higher price
PS (Polystyrene)
Standard polystyrene is clear, crystalline, but it can be coloured according to RAL. We mainly produce custom tubes suitable for technical and laboratory purposes. It is well resistant to acids and bases, but not resistant to organic solvents, especially gasoline, ketones, aldehydes. In longer period, it becomes brittle. It is used up to a temperature of approx. 55 °C.
